Dickinson Restoration Center
Description of service provided:
The Dickinson Center, Inc. Restoration Center is a 24/7 long-term structured residential (LTSR) facility that promotes healing and recovery. The facility is designed to serve up to 16 forensically involved adult males.
Geographic area of service:
Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, McKean, Potter, and Warren counties.
Admission criteria:
This program is for adult males (18 or older) who are involved in the criminal justice system and have a severe mental health issue or psychosocial disability.
How to access service:
Referrals are accepted from the Courts, probation departments, state parole agents, and corrections staff through each county forensic boundary spanner/case manager.

How individuals pay for the service:
This program is county/state funded, and insurance or medical assistance is needed for medications and other outside medical services that are not provided within the residential setting.
