Drop-In Center

Description of services provided:

A Drop-In-Center is a center for socialization and recreation for individuals who currently or in the past received mental health services, and are over the age of eighteen. Drop-In Centers are consumer-driven and focus on recovery principles.

C.O.P.E. Drop-In Center is located in Ridgway, PA. The center includes a TV, library, and pool table. Things to do include: crafts, video games, and wellness activities. Special events are held such as craft nights, movie nights, Wednesday dinners, cinch tournaments, pool tournaments, BINGO with prizes, community outings, and more!

The Place Drop-In-Center  is located in Coudersport, PA. The center includes a TV, DVD player, a library, living room, kitchen, computer, and craft area. Monthly activities are suggested by the consumers. Example activities throughout the month include: cinch tournaments, dinners, X-Box, crafts, coffee club, and bingo.

Elk, Cameron, Potter, Clearfield, and Jefferson Counties

Admissions criteria:

Drop in Center admission criteria includes individuals that are over the age of eighteen who currently, or in the past received mental health services.

How to access service:

Drop-In-Centers serve all individuals that fit the above criteria. The Drop-In-Centers do not accept referrals from care providers. If an individual is interested in attending, they can just call the appropriate number listed below.

How consumers pay for services:

The Drop in Centers are funded by Cameron and Elk Behavioral & Developmental Program, Potter County Human Services, and Community Connections of Clearfield/Jefferson Counties. There is no cost to the individuals served at the center.
