Dickinson Center Inc. (DCI), a non-profit organization and affiliate of Journey Health System, is proud to announce significant progress in its “Building for Tomorrow” capital campaign, supporting the St. Marys' building project. Through the generosity of individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations, DCI has raised over $1 million toward its $1.5 million campaign goal.

Dickinson Center, Inc. (DCI), an affiliate of Journey Health System (JHS), broke ground on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 for the ceremonial kick-off of their building at 28 Railroad Street in St. Marys. 

Dickinson Center, Inc., a non-profit organization and affiliate of Journey Health System, is pleased to announce the generous $1000 donation received from the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus (K of C) Assembly 958.

Dickinson Center, Inc. (DCI), an affiliate of Journey Health System, made a contribution to Hailey’s Reading Program at Francis S. Grandinetti Elementary School. Through its Helping Hands Program, employees donate money and the funds are used to support community programs.

Dickinson Center, Inc. (DCI), an affiliate of Journey Health System, plans to start building their two-story, 12,000-square-foot facility within the lots along Railroad and Market streets, after delays due to the pandemic and evolving building plans. The integration of DCI’s St. Marys’ programs into the new building will not only improve service accessibility, but also increase organizational effectiveness while bringing a positive transformation to downtown St. Marys.

Dickinson Center, Inc. (DCI) is proud to appoint Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Mary Anne Albaugh, MD, as their new medical director. She will also continue to serve as a psychiatrist at Deerfield Behavioral Health, an additional Journey Health System affiliate.

Dickinson Center, Inc. (DCI) is pleased to announce the recipient of the annual Elizabeth “Sis” Simons Memorial Award. This special award was presented to Nikol Chew, LSW, during the January 2024 Dickinson Board Meeting.

Morgan Advanced Materials in St. Marys and Coudersport recently fulfilled dozens of Christmas wish list items for several children as part of Dickinson Center, Inc.'s Pat Work Memorial Angel Tree Christmas Gift Program. 

Elk County Commissioners County of Elk, PA recently awarded Dickinson Center, Inc. (DCI), an affiliate of Journey Health System, $50,000 toward their new building project in St. Marys.

Exciting strides at Dickinson Center, Inc.!

At November’s meeting, the Elk County Commissioners County of Elk, PA designated November 8, 2023 as “Parents as Teachers Day” in Elk County, and recognized The Children's Center- DCI Parents as Teachers team’s service to the community.

November 8th is recognized as National Parents and Teachers Day. On this day, our organization, along with many others across the nation, acknowledges the importance of this amazing program.

An Open House at “The Place” Drop-In Center in Coudersport, Pennsylvania was held November 2nd, 2023.  Staff were very excited to see so many attend, including new faces, potential members, and different organizations.

This month we invited The Mama Coach - Karie Zoschg RN, BSN, CLC to share potty training tips. We had good conversations, learned a few new tips, and where to go for more information.

Dickinson Center, Inc., an affiliate of Journey Health System, was recently awarded $10,000 toward their new building project in St. Marys from Gasbarre Products, Inc. located in DuBois, Pennsylvania.

Dickinson Center’s team recently had a booth at the Bavarian Fall Fest in St. Marys The festival is organized by local volunteers each year during mid-September. There were approximately 83 booths selling many things including crafts and food.
